“My daughter LOVED this class! It was so much fun and so satisfying. In the end she learned to make several different pop-ups and she even made a book out of them. Stephanie was kind, patient and explained things well. My daughter highly recommends this class, as do I.”

WHAT IS THIS CLASS ABOUT?
Students will learn the fundamentals of making pop-ups — including two core techniques: the box fold and the beak fold — and explore ways to combine them. We’ll begin with pop-up cards and finish by turning them into a simple handmade book!
Kids will follow step-by-step demos and then use their imaginations to design creative, one-of-a-kind pop-ups.
Please note: Students MUST have heavyweight paper (construction paper or cardstock) and be able to cut and fold well. I’ll cover helpful tips during class to make it easier!
WHAT HAPPENS IN CLASS?
Initial demo of the day’s technique
30–35 minutes of creative work time
Optional sharing and discussion at the end (sharing is encouraged but never required)
I create a supportive space where learners feel comfortable sharing when they’re ready!
