Come join me live on Zoom to learn how to make pop-up cards! This single-session, one-hour FAMILY CLASS is designed for kids ages 6+ and their adults to enjoy making art together. (Please don’t send young kids to this class without an adult.)
Please note: making pop-ups requires good manual dexterity for neat folding and cutting. Most younger children will need adult assistance, so the “adult” part of your team can do the heavy lifting. Older kids who don’t need help can work independently alongside you!
When is the class? Either:
Friday, December 19, 3-4pm EST
Monday, December 22, 12-1pm EST
Where?
Online, via Zoom - you’ll get an email with the link after registering.
What’s the cost?
$25 (includes 1-2 adults with no more than 3 kids). I want you to be able to be onscreen together!
What will we make?
Pop-up cards using the basic box technique! Even though I call this “winter-themed” (‘Tis the Season!), you can make ANY kind of pop-up cards you like once you know how to make the pop-ups!
What supplies do we need?
multiple sheets cardstock or heavyweight construction paper (eg Tru-Ray - don’t get super-flimsy construction paper) - full sheets will be used for cards & backings; and you may end up cutting some up for collage as well.
scissors
glue stick
drawing supplies
anything else you may wish to decorate with (eg stickers)
