Small-Group Art Class: Make Paper Puppets! (2 days)

THE NITTY-GRITTY

• FOR WHO: Ages 7-11 (number of students: minimum 3, maximum 9)

• WHERE: Online via Zoom

• WHEN: The class meets twice: either two consecutive days, or once a week for 2 weeks

• COST: $30

• FALL/WINTER 2026:

WHAT IS THIS CLASS ABOUT?

Very simply - making paper puppets! I’ve always loved puppetry and making inanimate objects talk. We’ll be cover two easy paper puppet types that don’t require any prep work and use minimal supplies. They’re limited only by imagination!

WHAT HAPPENS IN CLASS?

• Initial demo of the day’s technique

• 25-30 minutes of creative work time

• Optional sharing and discussion at the end (sharing is encouraged but never required)

I create a supportive space where learners feel comfortable sharing when they’re ready!

ART SUPPLIES NEEDED

For the two sessions, students will need:

• Drawing and/or construction paper

• Scissors

• Scotch tape/cellotape

• A glue stick

• Drawing materials like markers or colored pencils, to add details

CLASS POLICIES

• Cameras on: Must be on at start for verification; encouraged to stay on during class

• One enrollment per student: Siblings register individually

• No refunds or make-ups for missed classes

• Missed classes: No makeups or credits; recordings provided upon request if I’ve already met your learner
